Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using WarpSend ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
WarpSend is an Android app for sharing files, messaging, and calling directly between nearby devices. Transfers run either over a temporary local HTTP server on your device or over a direct Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Direct connection. It also includes Storage Cleaner, a tool for finding files on your device you may no longer need.
Your files, messages, and calls are not transmitted through our servers and are not stored by us.
Messaging and Calls
WarpSend lets you message and call other WarpSend users nearby. These features connect your device directly to theirs; we do not carry, store, monitor, or moderate the content of your messages or calls, and we are unable to retrieve them.
Calling another person becomes available only after you have exchanged messages with each other, or after you have pinned that device. You are never obliged to answer a call or reply to a message.
Message and call delivery depends on both devices being in range and on your device's Bluetooth and network conditions. We do not guarantee that any message will be delivered or that any call will connect.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use WarpSend only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:
- Share, distribute, or transfer files that infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transfer malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
- Share content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
- Harass, threaten, abuse, defraud, or impersonate anyone
- Send unsolicited or repeated unwanted contact
- Transmit content that sexualises minors, or any other unlawful content
- Attempt to circumvent technical limits or security features of the App
- Use the App in any way that could harm, disable, or impair other users' devices
You are solely responsible for the content you share and the messages you send using WarpSend. We may remove features or access from anyone found violating these Terms.
Blocking and Reporting
You may block any device at any time. A blocked device cannot message or call you — its connection is refused before anything reaches your phone — and it is hidden from your nearby list. Blocking also deletes that conversation and revokes the device's access to your files. Blocks can be undone in Settings.
You may also report a device for abuse, which blocks it and sends us the reason, the device's name and identifier, and the time. Your messages are never included in a report — they exist only on the two devices and we have no way to read them.
Storage Cleaner
Storage Cleaner offers suggestions about files you may no longer need, based on file names, sizes, types, and dates. Its suggestions are advisory only: you decide what is removed, and nothing is removed without your action. Items you remove are placed in the App's in-app Trash so you can restore them.
You are responsible for reviewing your selection before removing anything, and for keeping your own backups of files that matter to you.
Free Tier & Pro Subscription
WarpSend is available as a free app with the following limits: 200 MB per file and 5 GB total public storage. You may also watch an optional rewarded advertisement to bypass the file size limit for a single transfer. An optional Pro subscription is available through Google Play for unlimited file sizes and storage.
- Subscriptions are billed through Google Play
- You may cancel at any time via Google Play → Subscriptions
- Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation
- Refunds are handled by Google Play's refund policy
- Prices may change with reasonable notice
Intellectual Property
WarpSend, its logo, design, and code are the property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App or any part of it without explicit written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
WarpSend is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use of the App is at your own risk.
This includes files removed through Storage Cleaner, messages or calls that fail to send or connect, and anything sent to you by another user.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of WarpSend shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Security
WarpSend's local server is accessible to any device on the same network. You are responsible for the security of your Wi‑Fi network. We recommend using WarpSend only on trusted networks. The developer is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from use on unsecured networks.
Nearby messaging and calling connect directly to devices in Bluetooth range. Anyone running WarpSend nearby can send you a message until you block them.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable local law. Any disputes arising from use of WarpSend shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where the developer is located.
