Overview
WarpSend is a local network file sharing app. It works entirely on your Wi-Fi network — no files, personal data, or usage information is ever sent to our servers or any third party.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or have access to:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- The files you share or their contents
- Your location or IP address
- Usage statistics or analytics
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Crash reports or diagnostics sent to remote servers
How File Sharing Works
When you use WarpSend, files are transferred directly between devices on the same Wi-Fi network using a local HTTP server that runs temporarily on your device. No file data passes through the internet or any external server.
- Files are shared locally — only devices on the same network can access them
- Shared files are stored in a private app folder on your device
- The local server stops when you turn it off or close the app
- You can delete shared files at any time from the Public tab
Permissions We Request
WarpSend requests the following Android permissions:
- Storage / Media access — to read files from your device so you can share them
- Network access — to run the local server and discover nearby devices on your Wi-Fi
- Notifications — to show download progress and file received alerts
- Query installed packages — to list and share installed APK files (optional feature)
No permission data is transmitted off your device.
WarpSend Pro Subscription
WarpSend offers an optional Pro subscription for unlimited file sizes and storage. Subscriptions are processed exclusively through Google Play. We do not handle or store your payment information.
Your subscription status is managed by Google Play and verified locally on your device. We do not receive your payment details, billing address, or any financial information.
Third-Party Services
WarpSend uses Google Play for subscription management. Google's privacy policy applies to any data collected during the purchase process. You can review it at policies.google.com/privacy.
WarpSend includes an optional in-app feedback form powered by Formspree (formspree.io). If you choose to submit feedback, your message and optional email address are sent to Formspree for delivery to the developer. Formspree's privacy policy applies: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
No analytics tools, advertising networks, or other third-party SDKs are integrated into WarpSend.
Children's Privacy
WarpSend does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal data from any user, this applies equally to all users regardless of age.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
